Poche ore fa sono emerse interessanti informazioni e retroscena su Donkey Kong Country, direttamente da un vecchio foglio pubblicato su Twitter da Gregg Mayles.
Gregg Mayles, il game designer inglese di Rare, ai tempi dietro la serie di Donkey Kong Country, ha infatti rivelato i nomi originali (poi scartati) di Donkey Kong Country e il cattivone, King K. Rool, ora presente in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Donkey Kong Country originariamente era stato pensato con il nome “Monkey Mayhem”, mentre King K. Rool ai tempi (1994) fu chiamato Kommander K. Rool, probabilmente per via della moda negli anni 90′ di utilizzare la K al posto della C.
